The Wishcraft Workshop Project
“This was the effort that told me branding and design were what I was going to do when I grew up”.
This project is close to our hearts, because it was the first. And we didn’t just conceive of the branding — it was the entire business that we forged. A kids’ art studio in Chicago opened at the worst possible time economically (Nov 2008).
In all honesty, the original logo design was abysmal. But the core of the business was there, deep and clear in its voice, so it didn’t take long for the business to be recognized nationally. Little by little, we invested in the branding by learning how to do it for ourselves. At some point, this was the effort that told Candice that branding and design were what she was going to do when she grew up.
As the business grew, so did the need for more and more design — marketing materials that changed with each season, side businesses (so many), a product line... It became a full-time job. So, when Candice decided that over 13 years of kids service success could be put to bed (when her own kids were grown and flown), she transitioned to working for others as a brand strategist, designer, and website builder.
This is where we cultivated the joy that shows up in so many ways, from elegant to riotous, in our work. Now you know why small business means so much to us. Ready to grow with us?
How might I help you?
LET’S SEE WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER
